Last year this event was about self-esteem, music and the arts. This year, those themes are still in everyone's hearts, but we've chosen another charity close to the heart of this event. In February 2008, I lost my cat to feline epilepsy. Her name was Isis. It just happens that I was coming up with a name for my "idea" for this event just before she passed away. It became a given that "For Love of Isis" would become this event's name. Which is why working with the Humane Society (where I adopted Isis from) this year brings great joy to my heart. If we can help them keep more animals alive and shelter them until they find their forever homes, I'll do everything I can. So come on out and join us to benefit such a wonderful cause.
